I think that's a very different, "after dark" discussion. When I first read that I saw three on three.
I think that's a very different, "after dark" discussion.![]()
i’ve also had that in a car.I think that's a very different, "after dark" discussion.![]()
i had a ‘70 ss 454 ls6. great cars and great stories!Then, at 14 I got a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed
Most definitelyMy first car at age 12 was a 1964 Chevelle Malibu with a 230 straight 6. I could drive it to the store or wherever I wanted to if my parents were not around.
Then, at 14 I got a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed that I was supposed to be allowed to drive only to school and to my practice for sports. The first weekend after I got it on Friday night I washed and waxed it, took my shower, got dressed and was heading out the door when my Dad asked what I was doing. I said going out in my car. He replied I was only supposed to use it to get to school and practice. I fussed a little and he said get on out of here but don't call me if you get pulled over. I left and from then on drove it whenever and wherever I wanted.
I took a throw pillow off of the living room couch to sit on for the first year to be able to see better. I dragged raced everything in 3 counties that would and won my share.
I finally got a ticket for no license 1 month before turning 16. I gave it to my Dad the next day and he went to the Chief of Police office mad as a mashed cat and threw it on the his desk and said didn't they have better things to do like stopping break ins and things instead of pulling over kids. The Chief apologized and tore the ticket up.
Times have changed.
