The Dawg House is what the Cleveland Browns call their stadium. Dawg is not a loser like the Cleveland Browns
You need some wall paper! Or paint! Or both!View attachment 2992799View attachment 2992800View attachment 2992801View attachment 2992802View attachment 2992803View attachment 2992804View attachment 2992805View attachment 2992806View attachment 2992807View attachment 2992808View attachment 2992809View attachment 2992810View attachment 2992811View attachment 2992812View attachment 2992813

Ooh!
Ooh!
I have about 100 design ideas already
I would go with white paint everywhere, but keep it mind there's a lot of shades of white. Some have warmer tones, while others are more cool. And some will pick up colors from everything in the room.
But white is always great for brighting up any space.
Then I would pick out some main colors, and use wall paper for an accent wall.
If you go with a busy pattern, be sure to use more solid patterns elsewhere to balance it out. For example, I would use a busy wall paper with some solid colored and simple patterned pillows. And depending on how colorful the wall paper is, a neutral colored rug would be my choice.
Pillowcases can be changed out, so it's best to go with more neutral tones for other things so it can still go whatever pillows or throw blankets you change out.
Curtains work perfect for dividing up space into separate rooms for more privacy, and can look quite stylish. Here's just an example, but I've seen all sorts of fabric used. Sheer fabric is popular but of course that doesn't provide much privacy.

And don't be afraid to layer rugs! With the right textures and colors, layering rugs on carpet can look amazing.

I would also add lots of plants. Pothos are one of my favorites for hanging plants, but those are toxic to cats and dogs, so be sure whatever you use is safe.
Snake plants are easy to care for and are great for air quality though.
And though it really depends on the style you go for, mixing antiques and more modern furnishings makes a home look more balanced in my opinion. I just love all the attention to detail that often goes into older pieces.
I guess she could take this advice and name it The Money Pit. Or maybe Goodbye Paycheck
