I forgot to ask you this. What does LP mutation mean? He has it, or if he had babies his babies would have it?

I can’t change my vote, but yesterday after looking at him closer his base is black. In the sun, in the shade, whatever, you can really see it in this picture

He has it. Doesn't need to have babies so doesn't matter if he'll pass it on.
