Poly-Vi-Sol (WITHOUT Iron)

I put the drops in the palm of my hand, then guide their beak to drink it. It's the easiest way I think to do this and less stressful for the birds.

Thank you for posting this. This might possibly save one of my Cinnamon Queen chicks that has been suffering now for 3 days. It has been difficult to diagnose wry neck without the help of an avian vet in our area. I have given it 50 mcg of Selenium crushed, 100 mg Vit E, 2 tbs. of Pedialyte and now rushing to the pharmacy for the vitamins without iron. Thank you for your expertise.

I went out to find Poly-Vi-Sol to have on hand if needed. Here is a picture to help identify the packaging.

What is this used for on chickens ?

Welcome to BYC. It is a liquid baby vitamin which some use for treating a vitamin deficiency or certain conditions, such as wry neck. It is fairly expensive, and I would prefer to use something like Poultry Cell or Poultry NutriDrench, which have vitamins, electrolytes, and amino acids, and are for chickens. There are other chicken vitamins that can be put in water.
