poly-vitamin drops Generic for poly-vi-sol? is it safe?

my pharmacy only had Rx CHOICE poly-vitamin drops it has no iron and says compare to poly-vi-sol is this safe to use on chicks or did i waste 5 bucks?

I find that most times the store brands work the same as the real thing. I usually buy the name brand for my kids but for me I get the genaric. I would think for chicks it would be just fine. We get genaric meds at the pharmacy all the time because insurance pays more on them.

I get generic things too when I can. As long as it doesn't have Iron, it will work fine for you.

Can anyone explain to me why the "No Iron"? I ran out and bought Poly Visol drops for a weak chick, she barely ingested a drop of it, then I realized that the stuff I bought is WITH IRON! I'm freakin out here! I hope it's not toxic!
