What is going into the aviary? That'll affect things like size and depth and method of ingress. With plywood, of course, you'll want to use fiberglass cloth in the edges, and epoxy very thickly. Otherwise, I have heard great things about plywood ponds, but for birds and fish.

I plan too put divers in the aviary. id like for a deeper pond.
it will also be buried. my plan was to make it 3ft x 4ft x 8ft.

How big is your aviary going to be? and what kind of divers?

you need more surface water for divers not necessarily deep. Ours is only 3.5 deepest at the drain site. but almost hald out pen is water
Most divers never leave the water and a 3x4ft pond is big enough for 1 pair of divers. they do not leave the water much
