Pond egg

I’m baking with the duck eggs(not the pond ones though). Brownies are in the oven.
Plus I think my boy is a man now. What do you think? I mean, is that what those white spots are in the yolk.
Ps: meat spots don’t scare me.

So good news:

The birds are no longer laying in the water. So maybe the false eggs did help.

I’m still only getting two eggs; one white and one blue-greenish. So I think one of my ladies isn’t laying yet. It’s so strange that one wouldn’t be laying since they were all hatched at metzer on the same day and shipped to me. Is it common for one to lag weeks or even a month behind? None of the females are acting weird so I’m sure that uts not a medical issue lol.

Just a late bloomer but unless you have a camera set up right where they are laying how can you be sure someone isn't taking turns? ;)

Well I thought about that. Since I only have three females, I know at least one is laying white eggs, and at least one is laying blue-greenish eggs. So, at some point I’m going to get two white eggs, or two blue-greenish eggs if one of them paused. At that point I will know that that all are laying, but taking turns. Of course this is assuming that a duck can only lay one color of eggs it’s entire life.
I dunno. I really want a cam though. I’d love to watch my ducks in between patients at work.
