pond for ducks

OH MY GOSH........you are awesome @tmorgan46 !!! Thank you so much for this explanation, this is great!!! I think I can see how this works now. I will give this to my husband (who by the way is an engineer and never thought of anything this awesome) and have him build it for me. Do you still have muck on the bottom of your pond or does it not have a chance to settle to the bottom and just goes through the filter? I am thinking I will need at least two if not three of these setups, would I need more pumps or just one pump ( maybe a bigger one?) and have it go through a few of the garbage cans? Thanks again for your help...this an awesome idea. Here is a picture of our pond now it's not a very good one, but all I had on my phone. This is when we first dug it and had some work and landscaping to do. Then I will keep you updated at the filter system we (try) to make :)

Sorry forgot to attach the picture....

Hi @Holland4 I'm not sure how much has built up on the bottom yet. I've only had it running a few days. I'll check it this weekend when we get warmer temps and see if the pump is moving it to the swirly filter or if it's settling on the pond bottom. And @revans2003 can't wait to see the set up of the super swirly filter!!

Cheers!!
