Poo Question

When I clean my Gambel's cage, I notice something in the litter that I am curious about. His typical poo is mostly brown with a little bit of white attached, occasionally all brown (and larger) with no white. What I'm seeing in his litter are little "balls" of just white -- they are rounded and about the size of a pea. Does anyone know what these are?

LOL! Or maybe should just be "LO"

I should perhaps have been more specific -- I know it's quail poop too, but wondering why it is all white, that size, and does it mean he needs something in his diet or is getting too much of anything?
