Don't tell my girls that chickens don't swim!
Well, they don't swim, but mine do wade. I can't download the photos right now, but I have several round pans about 18-24" in diameter and about 4-6" deep. Some are galvanized, some are rubber. I fill each one up with clean water a couple of times a day, throw in a couple of frozen 1 liter bottles, and the girls line up waiting to hop in. Of 23 hens, I only have about 5 who don't go wading. I have a couple of girls who will stay in so long that their feet get wrinkly!
About half of my girls love to eat Sonic ice!
