Pools in the winter?

My pool gets so dirty and gross in a half a day if that so I have to dump it and fill it daily , how do you keep it from getting gross or smelling or stagnating?

I do have a drain hose for when I do need to empty it but I also put some apple cider vinegar in there from time to time to keep it from getting completely disgusting. Since I have just added more ducks this year I am getting a bigger pool setup to put the de-icer in. My current one will be full of poop in one day
