I dump my the contents of my poop trays into the composter where it's mixed with other organic matter, leaves, shavings from the nestbox, etc. Sometimes when I add water to the compost as you need to do to keep it composting, I put too much water in there and the chicken droppings start smelling. I usually just add some dry litter then to get it back into balance.
