I'm such a newbie. Do you think these are normal poops, or should I begin treatment for coccidiosis? You experienced chicken keepers, is it worse to medicate unnecessarily or to "wait-and-see"? Thank you kindly for any advice.

Coccidiosis seems to be what every book, article and friend warns you about when you are preparing to begin this incredible chicken journey. So, of course, I have been LOOKING for it and may be seeing it in perfectly benign feces. Thank you to those who have shared this link of many chicken poos in other threads:

Having studied intently the photos in these links (ha ha!), I can see that my photos are not as extensively bloody as the model coccidiosis photos, yet, being so inexperienced, I cannot help but seek guidance. Thanks, y'all!!
