Poop on patio problem

We also created a no-chicken/no-duck zone, and that's worked out really well for us, too.

We can enjoy the yard when we want, but the chickens and ducks can't sit around and poop up the deck/house/storage area.

I love having my flock peeking in the front door. Sometimes they peck on the glass to let me know it's treat time. They seem to do most of their pooping in the yard, but the occasional offering on the porch gets swept or scraped off. It's not as bad as the time our cow got out and ended up on the porch!

This is gross but my dog follows the chickens around and eats their poop

so our patio stays relatively clean. If you don't have a chicken poop-eating dog

then I would say just hose it off once in a while.

the duck poo isn't so bad -at least it stays relatively soft

Be VERY careful, duck poo can act like a little dab of 'black ice' and if you accidentally step on some, you could find yourself on your bottom~~!!
