I see some poops with red in them. I read this is normal and could be intestinal tissue. Most poops are normal looking. But I find 1 - 3 of these every day. My pullets are around 12 weeks old. Are not free range. See photo attached. Sorry for the gross factor. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. They are acting normal, eating and alert. Photo was taken this morning in the coop where they roost at night.

Thank you. That is what I thought too. Why do they emit it? And is this regular thing
I'm not sure how often it happens, but it's normal and nothing to worry about. I think it happens because they have a rough diet and it's hard on the system, so it sheds so often.

What do you feed your pullets?

You are consistently finding poop like this every day? From the same pullet or different ones?
It stopped soon after this post and I have not seen any since. It was hard to figure out which one it was coming from. I began giving them ACV in their water as prevention. I do clean the run 2 times a day, to keep smell, flies down and to keep it clean for the hens.

I am feeding them a grower feed from Peck n Feed. It is organic. I'm thinking that I may try fermenting it

Thank you for responding. I new to forums like this, so forgive my lack of etiquette
