Poop with red stuff? (Photo)

Noticed this strange poop today on the coop floor. Is this something to be concerned about?

How old are your chickens? Are any acting lethargic or not eating well? Have you wormed them recently? If you see more of that soon, I would think about worming and possibly using some Corid. Occasional intestinal shed is okay, but if it occurs often or in large amounts, that is not normal.

6 speckled Sussex are 14 weeks old.
2 Lavender Ameraucana are 23 weeks old.

All are acting normal and active. Very happy birds.

i used to get that regularly. nothing has happened so far so i guess it's normal.

Haven’t wormed any of them yet.

If you see more of it, I would ask your vet to let you bring in some droppings to check for worms and coccidiosis. It does happen occasionally, but I would just keep a watch for it. It doesn’t hurt to worm them on occasion.
