What are y'all doing with it?

I don't have a garden this year, but we have a bunch of landscaping bushes and trees.

Currently, I have about a week's worth of poop in an oil drip pan, and it's being added to by the minute.

What can I do with it, besides dump it over the fence, into my neighbor's yard?

Great question. I have a composted which I purchased from Tractor Supply Company. It works great. I take a shovel and clean my coop out weekly, I walk the poop over there and dump it in. I also put in leaves and yard scraps of heat I find. I put in my own food scraps as well. Then, I use the compost on my garden and landscaping. Works great, smells bad.

I leave mine in 5 gallon buckets. When it gets full, leave it in a corner of the yard for a month or so. Make sure there are holes drilled in the bottom of it, so if it gets rain in it it does NOT hold that rain  After that, turn it, you can do that by just dumping it into another bucket, and a week later, toss it around your plants, shrubs. They should do really well. You may even be able to sell / trade / barter with other neighbors -gardening people for it and get something in return from them, fresh fruits veggies or something.

It's very high in nitrogen, so compost it first so you don't burn your plants, but it makes great fertilizer.
This exactly, I believe they say to leave it for 6 months composting before using it, or dilute it a lot in a large watering can with a small amount of poop and mostly water.

No lid, I assume?

Oh I just love the stuff! I thank my birds for pooping! Into a fifty gallon plastic garbage can that is full of worms and like magic, beautiful black sweet stuff that makes my potatoes grow to the size of bowling balls....if you don't garden yourself I'll bet you can easily find someone who does who would be very very happy to have it!

Rotating composter. If your poop is mixed with bedding, it only takes 3 weeks or so before you can use it. I mix mine about 50/50 with Sam's Club (Maker's Mark) potting mix before container gardening. You definitely can sell it once you get the word out. If not, just gift it to yourself for next year's garden. Here's a link to an article I wrote about it.

Did you put the worms in it, or where did they come from?
