Couldn't hurt to try

I won't get into this too in-depth; but you're right, it won't hurt to try.

The reason it has been proven to work is because the properties in the oregano and the aloe can actually kill the coccidiosis without harming the bird. Corrid doesn't kill the coccidiosis, it just deprives the chicken of vitamin b, which is what coccidiosis needs to thrive. So it starves it out.

Again, personally, we've treated all of our outbreaks this way, and have never used corrid. Everyone has their own methods, and I'm not saying not to use corrid if that's what you feel you should do :).

I'm not a vet, but I have taken a veterinary science course, along with a whole unit on holistic veterinary medicine.
