We have six hens have had em for about a month now. All seemingly healthy (getting 3-4 eggs a day) noticed 3 days ago that one of the girls had a really poopy butt but walking around and hanging out normally. Before I went to work I looked at her from afar n I thought I saw a flash of red around her vent thinking it may be blood or something....then I get home and boom she is dead on the floor of the coop. I've read threads now and today gave them a brand new fresh waterer with ACV and a pie tin of layer feed with yogurt which the remaining 5 ate. Will this affliction get my others?! We didn't even have time to help her
Also I think one of the other chickens attacked my buff Orpington and mangled her comb. This is a few days old. What should we do to help her? She is acting normal and eating fine.
