Poopy chicken O.O

Some of you may have read bout my special needs chicken Butter , well butter is a silkie and is poofy and floofy and has fuzzy feet, I already trimed his feet a bit and I had to cut of some of her top not , How do you keep them from getting poop smears on them?? Should I bathe her once every week or two??
Its mostly her feet but she randomly gets it wherever and it dosnt come out as easy becuase she is coverd in floof instead of regular feathers ,
