We recently took a trip 7 hours one way to get some Narragansett turkeys it was the nearest place. Now 2 turkeys have swollen cheeks. One worse than the other. They are supposedly all 2 months old. I included some pictures. How long should they be disease free before we introduce them to the rest of our flock? FYI hubby is picking up medicine on his way home from work and we were planning on treating all the new birds. Also cleaning the nostrils and getting crusty gunk off eyes regularly.
