Poor cold duckies

Ok last night was simply brutal and this morning remains so. How are your duckies today, @Stoney Meadow Maple ?

I have made the executive decision that they are staying inside today, i did that last year when we got 42” overnight . They have food and water, and i wont be home today.
There may be some grumbling, but tomorrow promises to be much more mild. I’ll put some fresh shavings in tonight when i get home from work.

How is your flock? Did they get over your issues.

That sounds like a good decision! My crew is hanging in there. I sometimes get nervous as they are a small flock in a big barn, but they proved how tough they are once again. There was some arguing over the fresh water this am, but nothing serious. It was more of a spirited discussion! However, we will all be happier once it gets above zero, and we are still very far from that.
