Poor fertility in Runners?

So... I had put a new set of Runner eggs in the incubator as soon as I cleaned it out after my disaster hatch. I put in 20 eggs. Out of these I had 4 infertile, and 2 early quitters.

Lockdown started late Saturday, and I currently have 6 babies in the brooder and 2 still resting in the incubator to call their friends out. Several more are pipped and one is rock and rolling, prolly will be out in the next hour.

I’ll get some baby pics up after they finish fluffing out... soooo cute!

In other news: my motley crew of youngsters are doing fantastic. They’re spending full days in the run, and I’ve been putting my adult flock in the run with them in the afternoons. Everyone is adjusting well and on track to be fully integrated by next week. I’ll try to get some pics of them, too.
