Poor 'lil Gloria...

ladychicken: Thank you, I think i'll put some of the iodine on it, it's alot like blu kote.

UPDATE:

Here are some pictures I JUST took of Gloria, she is outside right now sunbathing and relaxing her foot.

Hanging out w/ her buddy, Penny. Gloria is up on our wood porch and Penny is in the chicken pen, but they still stay close together!

Gloria loves to fall asleep in the sun...

But then, the human woke her up AGAIN!

"What do 'ya want now? No more medicine for my foot, its starting to feel okay now!"

"Don't. Touch. My. Foot. Or. Else!"

Starting to heal up a tiny bit...

"YOU! TOUCHED! MY! FOOT! You humans 'neva learn!"

I hope Gloria improves quickly. I have read that continued use of hydrogen peroxide after the initial cleaning of the wound can slow healing, so iodine may be better. I like Blu kote, too and I also use neosporin on wounds (but bedding can stick to it some times) I don't think you necessarily have to wrap it. I have found liquid bandage in the pet store that is formulated not to sting - you would think that there would be the non stinging liquid bandage in regular drug stores, too.

I bet Gloria would like a some nice yogurt after she finishes her course of Tylan - yummy probiotics.
