POOR NAKED RUNT CHICK **Update newpics**

I had one exactly the same as yours and she was an ee from my own stock. She was one of my favorites but I lost her in a bad predator attack that took 15 of my birds. I had named her Two Feathers, and was heart broken that I would not have her company in the house for the winter. She was tiny but she was a scrapper and always got her share of the treats when they were passed out.

Did you notice you took our pictures with her on the stove? Did you have something in mind when you did that, maybe subconsciencly? Not much pluckin to do. Or you have a long winter with a chicken in the house. I'd cover her up, she looks so pitiful. cut the end out of a sock and put it on. make little holes for her wings to go through.

She never got her feathers or grew much more than yours is in size now, and she was 5 months when she passed. She did have more fuzz than yours and her two wing feathers. I did not have a problem with her getting sunburned (I live in Texas) and watched her very close because I worried about her. She would stay in the shade a lot, I think she knew the sun could hurt her. I do love my ones that have a challenge, as many here seem to. She was my forever baby.

Two Feathers! What a great name!

You should name this little baldy, "Walks with Goosepimples"

... If I could just find out some way to get it to grow feathers lol!!

You could cal it Goose for short, very cute name.

I don't know how to get it to grow feathers. My concern was with winter approaching and keeping her warm. I kept mine in the brooder with the next two hatches I had and she always fit in. I put her out with them since they were the last group for the summer and fully feathered at that point. I didn't want her to be alone and knew she was buddies with them. I didn't think of the sock insulation because my coop is to open for that and she still would have been cold, not to mention if it would have rained.

hey, I want her!! if you ever dont want her ill take her. I could cross her with my showgirl roo...or my frizzle roo...and what would I get??
I love plucked birds!!
