3 WEEK CHICK WITH TUMOR??! HELP!

Im excited to say rex's neck feathers have started peeking through. they are growing at a rapid rate! Im still not sure of rex's gender but for now i will call rex a he. Ill post pics as soon as possible!

Been waiting for his feathers to really start showing to post a pic. U can see them, they are in that little quil thing or whatever the hard outershell is, but once hes fully fledged they will come out nicely ! Hes doing good and loves sitting on my shoulder. Very sweet young chick!! Sorry for the bad quality, its night time and my room is just barely light so he can sleep. Ill get good pics in the sunlight whenever i have the time

More closeups of rexs neck with good lighting. All pics are around his neck / shoulder areas. The ones with red circles are his shoulders, Its almost as if the skin lower on his neck is too thick for feathers to grow though.

possible bad news regarding rex. i went away for the weekend and had someone take care of the chickens while i was gone. They let him out free roaming instead of in the chicken tractor and havent seen him since yesterday morning. i am heartbroken. Last night was very cold and i hope hes ok because we have wild cats, coyotes, hawks/eagles,and wild pigs (that will eat birds and have eaten our ducks.) ((( Ive looked for him 5 times and only can find his siblings. i am very very sad. i dont hear him at all anywhere and ive walked the entire 15 acre property leaving no stone unturned. He might still be alive and just lost, im unsure. I tried shaking his food canister (which he usually comes running too) and still... nothing. If i find him (dead or alive ) i will update. pray that he is found :'((((

i havent been able to find him. i think hes gone. I found half of another chick outside, i think those wild pigs got him too. I really hate those pigs! were gonna try and find someone who would want to buy them.. like a pig farm or something. And were making the chick coop and yard more secure.
