I have a 15 week cock in with my hens they have been bullying him, I went to check on them late morning and noticed he has a swollen left eye which he is keeping closed and also the left wattle is swollen he is very lethargic also, could this have been caused by the bullying hens or is it something else thanks

I would isolate him. if it is the hens bullying him, he may need to live somewhere else. is he the same age as the hens?

If your hens are full grown then yes absolutely, they could well be the cause. Hens can kill a weak rooster. For me, that is too young to integrate him. He has to be able to be in a position of dominance.

The hens are 20 weeks so they are a little older than him

i would not put him in with them just yet. chickens will beat up on the younger weaker ones to death possibly. wait till he's bigger to integrate him in with the flock.

Thanks everyone
I've just been to check on him and now both battles are swollen and he is very sleepy anybody have any ideas please
