Poorly Hens

One of our Black Copper Marans died yesterday. Also I notice three of our hens have been reluctant to leave their perches the last couple of mornings, and the tail feathers are drooping on one of them. They are about 18 months old and free range. Not sure if it is a coincidence but we introduced three new larger/younger chickens two weeks ago, also our three new turkeys enjoy hanging around with them. Any advice or tips would be most welcome.

it is probably not a coincidence; 2 weeks is a typical incubation period for diseases. For how long and how did you quarantine the newbies?

Also turkeys can carry blackhead which doesn't hurt them but does hurt chickens; perhaps do a bit of research on that and how to treat where you are?
