Well, cause they like their privacy, don't you know??

Mine always seem to hatch at night when I'm sleeping....I hardly ever get to see anything hatch!

I went ahead to church after I thought I had them all set. I came home to find they both escaped from the hatching pan. One was lucky enough to get stuck but other crossed to the other side of the bator & was cooked by the heat element. I have had bad luck with this hatch. I started out with 12 eggs & 6 were clear then one quit early. Now I've lost 1 of the 5 that were left. Two still have not piped though. I am grateful to the person that gave them to me but I wish I could have done a better job with her eggs.
