I hear a LOT cannon fires cause we live near Fort Knox-when there's heavy artillery training going on... it is the worst. When I go out in the middle of the night to lock up my girls, I'll just hear an ear-splitting, continuous BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! And it's terrifying, even though I've heard it for however many years!!! Especially in the middle of the night....
