people need at least some sleep, you know![]()
wow, sorry about thatSo I've been going to a 4-H camp and the last three days were the stay overnight nights and no phones allowed (( -_- )). And we had these HUGE tents (( in the middle of the woods )) that were elevated off the ground, and there weren't any zippers, etc just flaps and buckle thingys but the corner was still kinda open, we could see out of it. So the other two girls passed out at around 2:30 and two of my friends called Sophia and Bridget and I laid down to sleep about an hour or so later. Then we heard clanging and banging, like a trash can. And we all sat up and were like 'o.o' and then there was more banging and we realized we had a trash can in the middle of our tent circle. And THEN we remembered the camp director saying that they had a large raccoon population there. And we started silently freaking out. I mean FREAKING OUT. Because we had no knives, no guns, no bows, etc. We were freaking weaponless. We started to grab our aerosol (( spray on )) sunscreen and bug spray, shoes, and whatever else. We were quiet for a really long time and we could hear paws on the ground beside out tent, in front of it, in the back, they were coming from all directions. That's when we realized there was MORE THAN ONE. And Bridget started shaking, and we were so scared the three of us linked hands and sent about 30 prayers up to God, and we don't do that often. We had huddled in the center of the tent, and the pawsteps continued for 3 more hours. Then it FINALLY stopped and we realized we'd been up for almost 24 hours. We fell back asleep at 5:30 a.m., only to wake up at 6:00. I'm exhausted, but I'm not. I'm drinking Pepsi like it's my job.
._. That was long.
