Cute bird!!!!! I love them so much! When will he start to crow? I'm not supposed to have roosters where I live so....
Thank you! I have no clue because this is my first batch of chicks. I think they could start crowing anywhere from 6 weeks on. That sucks. I'm very lucky to live in a small town that has no chicken/ rooster limits. I hope you can find a way to keep him!
 
Me too!!!! He's the most beautiful blue/cream color! And sad part is...I got them at rural king as light brahmas and all pullets!

Mine is approx 7-8 weeks old and started crowing this weekend. He is not very loud yet and not very often, he sounds more like a Macaw or a parrot than an actual rooster.
 
Thanks, he looks a little worse for wear here but he really is a pretty little thing. He is so sweet with me but soooo ready to put the other cockrel and pullets in their places, this was just after he finished a round of "d'Uccle rules the garden".

I'm waiting for him to belt out a good one any day! They are so sweet!!! Here's my pair. Peep is the roo and Squishy is the hen. My 5 year old niece named them!
