Porcelain d'uccle thread

Does your hen have long blue feathers down her neck? I'm trying to figure out if one is a rooster. Do you have a picture of your girl?

I am at work, but as soon as I get home I will post a couple of pics of my booted girl and my D'Uccle rooster... My girl is patterned a lot like the girl in the foreground of the bottom picture... I don't think she has a ton of blue feathers on her neck... I'm ashamed to say that even though I am constantly petting her and holding her I've never really looked in depth at her neck other than to check every week for mites or other icky critters...

Thank you one of my 2 porcelains has the long blue feathers but the other one doesn't.

Your porcelains look like mine. They are lovely. Is the middle one in the bottom picture a porcelain rooster? Neither of mine look like him.

Yes that is one of two roos that I have.

Here are pics of my girl... I guess she does have sort of long-ish blue colored neck feathers... but she's definitely a hen since I have watched her lay her tiny little eggs many times.

Your hens blue neck feathers are similar to mine. I guess I have 2 hens. But only one is laying. Thank you

He has a pretty decent crossbeak and a skull deformity... his head is kind of flattened at an odd angle on one side... but he's a sweetheart He is one of 3 special needs birds that I currently own
I have a half nekkid Frazzle rooster
and also a Welsummer hen with a mild scissorbeak
