help! we are moving, and are looking for houses in post huron. probably 1 or 2 acres. any rules on keeping ducks, geese, or chickens?
 
You need to go to the city hall or county, whoever has legal authority for your property.
The clerk can give you a copy of the ordinances. That will tell you what you can do without getting ordinances changed.

I found my township ordinances online. I think this is yours linked below. I actually found two answers so I'd probably call to be sure.

Searching directly through the Port Huron city ordinance website I found this, says no livestock within city limits.

BUT a Google search of " Port Huron, mi ordinances chickens" found me a PDF saying 40 max per acer, so, wildly different answers. I'm thinking the PDF is the more recent but still. Link is below, I hope this helps.
