Portland gets chicken permission!

I just heard a story on the news that Portland will now allow hens. I missed the details, but congratulations to PDX.

Wasn't it Portland Oregon where Barbara Kilarski lived who wrote "Keep Chickens"? I could be mistaken, but I thought you could already have up to three in the city without a permit.

I think the Portland on that thread was in Maine. I have the "Keep Chickens" book. I found it very readable, and targeted to someone like me. I like it better than Storey's Guide.

Portland OR has always allowed 3 hens or ducks without a permit.
