As wood ducks do come in white and many other colors albino is not a true thing that happens to them, wood ducks natural color mutation is actually apricot meaning it can occur naturally in the wild, albino isn't really a thing in some species i mean like don't quote me on that i'm not sure, as far as i know albino happens in mainly mammals, even crocodiles aren't truly albino but have a white, cream color mutation. But like Mallards natural color mutation is blonde, a light cream color and some people have reported a natural black mallard mutation. So i dont know if they are albino just what u probably saw with the wood ducks is just a white /silver oneHas anyone ever seen true albino mallard-derivative ducks, and do you have photos of them?
I've seen albino wood-ducks, but nothing else yet.
