Hi guys,

We have been raising a Mallard duck until we can take her to Wetlands Rehab Center in OC for proper care.
She's about 5 weeks old and we noticed that her wings have been growing in a bit odd.

We suspect it may be angel wing.
She sometimes screeches out of no where and once I accidentally brushed by her wing and she screeched. (Must be painful).

We feed her boiled mashed eggs, peas and corn.

I heard you can wrap the wings to make them properly grow. Any suggestions or step by step guides for this?
Will she be in pain having her wings wrapped? Does the process hurt her?
What kind of diet should we stick to?

Sorry for the blurry pic.

Certainly looks like angel wing...not sure why you wait if you are taking it to a rehab center. If you can not fix it now...it can not be released. Good intentions with poor results for the duck.

Hi, I could explain the circumstances as to why I haven't gone sooner... But I am not going to waste my time doing so. In any case she will be there this weekend. We just want to help her before she goes there in the meantime.

If there are any informative or good step by step links or video tutorials it would be greatly appreciated.
