Possible broken egg in chicken

Hello,
I am new to raising chickens, I have a 6, one is a Golden Buff (Daisy), they are all about 5 1/2 months old, yesterday Daisy started cackling, then about 2 hours later she got up on the perch in their run and a bunch of egg white started coming out her vent, then about 1 minute later a big egg yolk and more egg white. I picked her up and took her into her nesting box and she stayed there til this morning, checked on her a few times over night, she was just sitting there acting a little lethargic. This morning she seems a little better but I don't know if this is normal??? I feed them non-gmo layer pellets, oyster shell, they have a large run, lots of bugs. Any information? Thank you

That is common with first eggs. Soon she will lay normally and the eggs will get larger over time. My first eggs were smaller than a ping pong ball but very hard shell.
