Possible Broody and question

So far the only baby I can take a picture of. This little one has been out front and center each time I look.

The mom looks so grumpy and annoyed.

She's very annoyed because I keep trying to look and see how many babies are under her. I just gave her some water, she was really appreciative. I'm trying to set up an area to put her and the babies and it's quite warm here today.

When we've hatched her mom, and our other chickens, in an incubator (two different times) in the past couple years they pretty much start eating and drinking water right away. This is my first time with a broody hatching babies. She hasn't moved off of them since they've been hatching today. When does she take them to show them food and water? Is it ok that they're just under her today and not scratching around eating and drinking? I'm thinking because this nature, she'll know when to show them food and water, right?
