Possible Bumblefoot

I could not get anything to come out after removing the scab. Should I soak more and try again?I was afraid of hurting the chicken.
It is not going to feel good but it is better of you get the hard pus out.

Do they look anything like this? These are pics of the early stage of bumble foot that I caught and was able to treat (thanks to BYC!) in my flock.

My biggest fear is doing more harm than good. I dont think this is something that goes away on it's own, but when scabs form isnt that the bodies bandaid?

I dont want to wait till it is a problem, but I see no sign of infection besides the scab.

Just keep an eye out and check your flock for limping, swelling or heat in the foot. I’d hate for your to cut into healthy flesh if you feel that there is no more infection.
That was my thought. I haven't actually cut into any hens feet, but I have soaked them until I could peel the scabs off.
