Heyo!

I’ve got a girl I think may have coccidia and I was just wanting more opinions!

she’s eating and drinks, but her tails been low the last few days and she feels skinnier than usual. Her poop this morning was also a little off.

Is she new? Did you just bring her home in the past week? Then there might be a chance she's got a coccidia buildup.

But if she's of laying age, has been laying, and suddenly stopped, she could be egg bound.

If she free ranges and has spent time in a compost pile, she may have mold toxin or botulism exposure.

We’ve had her since sept 11. Wormed all the chickens about two weeks ago. She’s five months old now, but even the girls I got in may haven’t started laying eggs yet. She does free range but they don’t have any access to the compost pile, we’ve got it closed off.

Do you have Corid on hand? It is highly likely that she's suffering from coccidiosis.

How long have you had this bird?
We’ve had her since sept 11, got her and another chicken who we actually gave back bc that was a roo. She’s never really vocalized for crowed and her saddle feathers are rounded.
(Ft her and said roo)

Please be careful about bringing new birds in to your flock. This is a good way to bring disease in.
Start Corid today.

We actually did quarantine her for a month!
It's almost impossible for most of us backyard keepers to properly quarantine. Most simply don't have enough room to keep birds a football field length apart.
