Possible Coccidiosis In Week Old Silkies!

Medicated chick start will not cure an outbreak of coccidiosis, just so you know.
I would stop using the medicated feed and put them back on their regular feed...if I were you.

No they aren't, they're only a week old, however my granddad,me and my sister drove a very long distance to get them on Saturday(and pick up my gran from the airport) And then unfortunately I was unable to get chick crumbles that night(because it was late and all the shops closed), or the next day because it was Sunday. So for two days I fed them crushed layer pellets, and yesterday I was able to get chick crumble from the petshop.

Also, this has been the only unusual poop. The chicks are both behaving normally, sleeping, eating, drinking and racing happily around the brooder. They are both very friendly and happy.

It could be. Intestinal lining is not normal in my flock, so that's why I suggested to have something on hand in case they start looking sick.

My birds shed intestinal lining quite regularly. I suppose it differs from flock to flock.

I agree with @casportpony, just keep some Corid on hand, since it is better to be safe than sorry. Personally, $10 is a lot for one chick I would pay $10 per chick if I were buying from a breeder, but not a hatchery

I didn't actually pay, I did a trade. One chick for a pair of two year old white peafowl.

I would consider the guy a breeder, he had a big shed with indoor pens, and outdoor runs attached to them. I'll link his listing

The birds were arranged by colour in each pen, and he hatches chicks every week, he was really nice. I purchased two of his most recent hatch.
