I'm kinda worried that these "pullets" are cockerels. They are from TSC and believe they got them from Privett Hatchery. All these pictures are from yesterday.

First up is Luna a production blue (Rhode island red x blue Australorp) 4 weeks old Sunday. I just noticed yesterday that she has some wattle development and today it's even more noticeable. Her comb isn't obviously large. Pictures are from yesterday

I wasn't able to get any pictures today to show the progression from a a day but it is noticeable.

Brunhild 3 week Naked Neck. She had started to develop a noticeably red color behind her head. Doesn't seem to change throughout the day. She also has copper ringed feathers growing in on her neck and back. Her comb is starting to grow off to one side too.

Maisy is a 4 week old Easter Egger. She is the fastest to feather in and I wouldn't be worried but for the fact that her comb is starting to turn pink.

And does anyone have experience with D'anver bantams? I have this 3 week old one who I'm suspecting is a boy

At a young age it is had to tell for sure. Look at the waddles on your chicks. Whole hens will have a more yellow-peach color to there waddles, roosters will have a red tint. Also watch for fighting.

I would think they’re pullets at this age. As they get older it will be easier to tell but it does seem too early to say for sure

I have production blues. They seem to develop wattles sooner, as do australorps, which they're mixed with. So far they all look like pullets to me but it is still a bit early.

Thank you! I had no idea that they did, that makes less worried

Okay updated pictures from today. That makes them 5 to 4 weeks old.

Best view of her wattle development. Still has very minimal comb development so I'm inclined to go with Mamatomany123 and say it's the Australorp in her.

More noticeable comb development this week. Skin also is darkening and it looks like like black pigment is developing along the neck and comb.

And for another one Mesa the 4 week old Dark/Light? Brahma bantam.

Mesa is soo slow to develop feathers. Outside Diesal all my others had feathers like this at week and a half to two weeks old. I understand cockerel Brahmas feather in alot slower then the pullets. The feather coloring coming in looks so much like dark brahma pullets withe the grey and black banding. Is it possible that it's a really dark light Brahma Cockerel? Or do Brahmas in general feather slower then other breeds and it is a dark brahma Pullet?
