Possible Ear mites?

One of my roosters moves his head like he is trying to pop his neck but Iv'e only seen him do it a couple of times. He is an 8 month old white Leghorn and I'm wondering if this is an okay thing or do I need to check him for ear mites. If so how do I do this? Thanks

Have you ever wormed him? And, check for mites on the vent and under the wings ("armpits")... and does he have mites on his comb?

Also search for ear infections..believe it or not - they get them!
