Hi all, one of my hens is showing signs of some type of illness. She ceased laying approximately 3 weeks ago but we attributed this to rapid changes in the weather (unseasonably warm then unseasonably cold). She was otherwise acting normally throughout this time. Last night while checking in, she looked rougher than usual with dull feathers, tons of pin feathers, and two bouts of loose stools back to back. I have given her an Epsom salt bath and took some photos. What is going on? She’s 1.5 years old, dark Brahma hen. I haven’t notice any odd posturing/penguin walk, but when I felt around there seemed to be a hard mass near her vent.

I don't think it would, have you ever dewormed your flock? Do her droppings smell, not normal? Yeasty?
I haven’t, but I ordered a dewormer just in case this was the issue. Her droppings smell pretty foul, but I wouldn’t say yeasty. I have another hen and she is not displaying any of these symptoms, normal droppings etc. I really appreciate your help!

I would deworm the whole flock once you get the dewormer. What dewormer did you get?
Glad to help!
