I believe my hens have turned into egg eaters. I can not find a single egg in the pen or the coop. Twice I have found a broken egg in the coop and that was first thing in the morning. I've been trying to catch my birds as they are in the nest box but no luck. They have been digging a lot lately and I don't know why. I've seen dust bath areas but they seem to be looking for gold or something. I mean, they've really turned the place upside down...... not the coop but the pen bottom. Never seen them like this before. Maybe it's the heat but I don't know. Something is up. Parties late at night maybe?
