My girls have been free ranging today. I went this evening and found one sitting on the ground alone looking confused while everyone else has already went to bed. She looks dazed. Shes mildly responsive but not herself. Her head and neck keeps cocking to the right almost like it's stuck. Her comb and face keep RAPIDLY fluctuating between red and super pale. Sometimes when I gently straighten her neck, She suddenly turns red again like blood rushed back to her face. She's also panting heavily, occasionally squinting, and occasionally fluttering her beak as if she was eating something. I have brought her inside in case it was due to the heat and she's sitting on my lap while she does all this. She's had plenty of time to cool down and is still acting like this. What could be the matter? What should I do? She was walking around like normal earlier today. I checked her whole body and I found no injuries of any kind.

Could she have suffered a head injury? Dehydration could be a problem in the heat. I would separate her. With food and water and observe her. She may have wry neck or be suffering seizure activity. Human vitamin E 400 IU and human super b complex vitamins 1/4 tablet daily might be helpful. Also give a spoonful of scrambled egg for selenium. Get her drinking fluids.
