I don't know the MG dosing for calcium, I assume that it may be like vitamins and minerals that the excess gets flushed out of the body. For an IB type hen I have read 4 to 6 ml of calcium gluconate orally and 4 ml SQ. Lil Bit is a little big so I doubled up. If you don't see improvement in 12 to 24 hours administer another round. The bottle says 23% solution intervenes solution.
