Possible frostbite on Runner foot?

I do not know at this point if the injectable is a good idea, or if the topical is the way to go. I would at least start with the topical antibiotic to prevent infection, and if it does get infected, then consider the injectable.

Laying seems to be a good sign.

Sorry bout no recent pics been busy but her foot is almost back to it's normal color. There's only a few places where it is still discolored. How long should I keep up her treatment for after the frostbite is gone?

I would go a few days after the foot looks back to normal.

Alright.. Thanks Amiga for all your help. I'm not sure what I would of done without it. I had no clue what to do for frost bite.

Thanks for helping to save another ducky!

I care about ducks and their people as you know. I rely quite a bit on David Holderread and BYC, what I have learned from my vet(s) and what I have seen in my ducks and myself. This was a rough year for frostbite, and there may have been some hypothermia cases, we just don't know for sure.

I pray the little's leg, foot and toes all heal up nicely and quickly and well. And now you can be the voice of experience for someone else.

Please check back in a few days so we can see how the recovery goes.

Well her foot healed up nicely and is all better. She's back out with the flock once again and is doing great. I'm glad her recovery was quick and simple with no complications. Thanks to all who helped.
