Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Luckily for them, I have a backup heat lamp...
Which I'll be putting somewhere safe and out of Pip's reach.

Well the four roos that I am sure of from this years broodies are banded an have been put in general population. If they get to feisty witht he "girls" they just run them off or thump the guys. All other unbanded roos are going over the fence tomorrow. I know that they are not getting back over the wall of celibacy as they can't fly that high and have not attempted it. Funny to watch them run around the run trying to get back in or stand by the fence and cackle to the girls to come on over because they have candy for them. Plan on doing an up to date count of all in the run hens tomorrow. Takes 2 people one to man the door and count and one to keep the counted one from coming back in until the census is completed. Got a buddy to help me Brave man as one of the hens either really likes him or hates him NOT sure which. She will sneak up on him and either peck his leg or kick him and then run away. I think she wants to play tag. Yet another reason for calling the place twisted acres nothing is "normal" out there.

Cheyenn I think you should send me pip she would fit right in with the rest of my crew.

While she was a naughty little thing today... I guess she can stay. She's such a clown, it just wouldn't be the same without her, lol.

the post master did! what a wuss. i did learn that i cant fit through one of those half doors !! yes it is being mailed, from a different source they better be good or i will go postal
